OK GO

OK Go - This Too Shall Pass from OK Go on Vimeo.

More Proof a good idea is all you ned to market yourself.

Waiting for Moby

Beautiful work. To bad it was for a contest to promote Moby. Like the video, like Moby, hate the idea of this and 499 other videos submitted to have a chance to "win." Not even sure this winning entry was paid for.

It's Home

Less advertising, or Music Video, though it does qualify as both, more of a feature film. Leo Burnett, Sydney, Australia.

Music Video/Catalog

Part of Diesel's Be Stupid Campaign, the above music video showcases the clothing, go to the website so you can stop the video to get the details. Wonderful idea.

Over the large Pond

You can enjoy the Devo-ness.

One Thing to Watch Today

This an absolutely fun video by Diane Birch who is super cute and super energetic. The real show is how it was pulled together behind the technology. Take a look at them both and see for yourself.

Music Video

Nothing too special about the effects but the idea is solid.

OK, OK GO may be smarter than you

The video is amazing, the behind the scenes thinkers are the most likely reason why. Oh, and they are in the band, making them more imaginative than you or I.

Massive Attack

Wrap your eyes around this work of art. Beautiful.

Ping Pong Anyone?

Metal on Metal "BASTARD" from The Glue Society on Vimeo.

Some times you get to see an idea that few could think of. This is one of those golden nuggets. Maybe a bit too graphic for my taste at the end but wonderfully cast and shot. Director: Matt Devine, The Glue Society for Metal On Metal.

Spacious Thoughts

Hypnotic visuals with a memorable beat. This one will stick with you on both fronts. Found this over at BoingBoing and it features N.A.S.A. (North America South America) with some input from Tom Waits and Kool Keith.

Pencil Full of Lead

Amazing animation work that crosses over to our world smoothly, but watch it because it's just so fun.

Visual Bethoven's 5th

This is amazing, I want to see more. B's 5th represented visually and simply. Wonderful.

White Swan

This is very beautiful. Who knew cotton candy dissolving in reverse could be so mesmerizing, even with the half frozen, coal mine hidden, nearly naked woman with the strong voice.

It's all about the Music Videos

Not sure what to think, other than it new for Taco Bell and I thought it was for Smirnoff at first.

Webcams

SOUR / 日々の音色 (Hibi no Neiro) MV from Magico Nakamura on Vimeo.

Very entertaining video using some clever edits and some good neo-old fashioned webcams. Enjoy.

What have you done today?

Ask yourself, what have you done today? Direct? Produced? Animate? Compose? All the above? The Dead Pirates track, Wood, directed by Mcbess & Simon and produced by The Mill. Mcbess, whose real name is Matthieu Bessudo, did not simply co-direct this animated promo with fellow director at The Mill Simon Landrein – he wrote and recorded the track under The Dead Pirates moniker, and he also provided the illustrations for the video too.

Rayban

They are definitely havin' some fun. Sellin' glasses, not sure.

We've Got Time

This is wonderful. Just wonderful.
