Missed this when we were away.

A little old at this point but really hard to ignore. Possibly even harder not to take away to spend some time in your childhood box.

Proof

Proof you do not have to spend a lot if you are clever. N=5, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Carpet Cleaning

More Panasonic guerilla work and cant say the core of the idea is great, but who doesn't want that rug? Beautiful work.

A Little Humor

Tough product to promote, but the placement and humor would at the least make it possible to gain awareness. Never get to see enough of this.

More Theories on Fun

The more they do at the Fun Theory, the more I fall in love with the idea. Bravo.

Love Fun-loving Work

More work from Tribal DDB, Stockholm, Sweden. They call it the Fun Theory. You can get people to do more as long as you make it fun. Seems like a simple diatribe I would like to see more people try, especially in our business.

Art for Ransom

Brought to you by the amazing Peter Bergman, ADCD, Steve Whittier of Factory, Stella Yu of Arts Street and all the students who participated in The Brief last year.

Who says we can't do good things for each other? In times of trouble, we all need to kick in and help each other out. Let's stand up and get involved!
Check out artforransom.org for details on the upcoming show. More to come...

Big Big

This is fun. Visuals are highly playful on their own, but add in the action and place them in the real world and congrats, have a big idea. Although the women's bathroom cam I'm not sure was a good idea.

Potatoes

See, even tubers can be fun if you have the right idea. Love the installation. Juniper Park, USA.

Prius Energy

This is how you make the consumer happy about advertising, give them something they need and want but keep it close to your core messaging. Not interuptive, helpful. More brands should think like this. Add the bonus points for how visually dynamic it is. Saatchi & Saatchi, Los Angeles, USA

Speeds

Simple idea that may not have been easy to discover, none the less, brilliant. Cramer-Krasselt, Milwaukee, USA

Iams

Yep, simple idea that is easy to execute, will remain memorable and will win over dog owners. Saatchi & Saatchi, Sydney, Australia

Change Art

Nice interactive piece offline. Could see people compulsively completing this. Okay, maybe just me.

Love

UHHHH, you decide if this is good, romantic or in line with those guys who propose at a basketball game.

50graus.org

Brazil's 50 Graus (50 Degrees) has had some beautiful work out for a while.. All of it attention stealing. This work may be their best yet. A maze around the drinking fountain, demonstrating the diffuculty of clean water in the not-so-distant-future. Brilliant, engaging, better that most advertisers with giant budgets.

Sagmeister Makes Penny Art, Cops Make It Disappear

...Or something like that. I don't quite understand the whole story told here on droog. But it is one of the coolest public / temporary art pieces I've ever seen. See the whole flickr set ( where I got the pics) here.

Oh yeah, the piece says, "Obsessions make my life worse and my work better.” I was just contemplating this the other day... Hmmm, is that sign to make some changes?

Conserve

Simple, probably effective, although I question the audience.

Burlesque

Cheap, Easy, and if you believe the press, Effective. Great example of working with the environment, plus, the video is nice if proof is needed to show your client. It has nice reactions for a little fact based selling.

Super Bonder

GREAT IDEA, until you see the art at the back. And then, you just wish they made it look great too.

Father Bobbin

Father Bobbin environmental advertisement. How could you ignore this.
