Received in our inbox, Tod Kapke is a local artist doing some very interesting work mixing photography and illustration. Here's an article via Ape on the Moon that describes his work process and philosophy.
Tod also has a photoblog that's worth looking into. I really enjoy the whimsy and thoughtfulness in his compositions.
