Paper Fashiontastic

Pick a cliche and they all apply: You got to see it to believe it. A picture is worth a 1,000 words. It just keeps getting better and better.

Once the Paper Fashion Show 2010 came to a close, many started wondering how could we possibly top this in 2011. The answer's simple. It's us. All of us.

Let's start with the incredible commitment of our board members. Their passion was evident throughout the process and they made things happen. Then you have volunteers and ADCD members jumping on board and helping where needed. Then the sponsors, vendors, and media partners. Without their generous contributions, none of this would be possible. Together they put together a show that was memorable as it was magical.

And that magic shined through fantastic fashion designs. Long days and sleepless nights paid off as inspiration owned the runway. I was privileged to walk backstage as the models lined up, and you just knew. The night was going to rock with 800 people flashing cameras and screaming from the first minute to the last. Best of all, everyone's contributions went to assist the spectacular DAVA. So a big thank you to everyone, and we'll see you in 2011.

It just keeps getting better and better.

– Jay Roth/ADCD President
